💧 UHPPOTE Pack of 2 Wired Water Leak Detectors: Enhance Your Water Alarm System's Efficiency Review

This product has never worked. I took it to an electronics store to have it checked for continuity (passed) but it didn't work when the contacts were submerged in water.

Worked great with my Apex aquarium controller. A few weeks later I had a leak and the sensor worked as intended, preventing damage to my floor.

Install this with my Honeywell Vista 20P as an alarm zone for my boiler if it leaks again and I'll know asap. Set it up as a short circuit switch on the system and chirp on my keyboard when water is detected.

This is a water probe ONLY. There is no switch included. I use it with the Honeywell 5821 wireless flood sensor. This water probe is perfect for this application. I installed it so the probes touched the tile floor. The smallest drop of water triggers a high water alarm until 5821.

I used a water level sensor connected to a circuit that automatically fills the pool. The last probe cost over $80 and failed after a few years. As a sensor telling the circuit that water has touched both pins, it's perfect and worked fine for about a week.

Updating my review. It didn't work and I bought a completely different product and had the same problem. I tested this with heavily filtered tap water. When both failed, I found out why. It turns out that when you have too clean water, it doesn't transition. I put some salt in the water and bam! Worked great.
