Faulty Lock Caused Security Breach

Using this lock, our team found that it frequently failed to secure the door, putting our facility at risk. The adjustable feature was also difficult to use and didn't work properly.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Unreliable, difficult to use.

Soft internals cause looseness

After about three weeks of use, the internals holding them closed began to warp due to the soft metal. Finally, the door opened with moderate effort. After disassembly, I found that the latch opens more than 50% due to the soft internal parts. Replaced by a magnetic lock.

Pros
  • ✅2200 lbs (1000 kg) jaw strength tested to 500,000 cycles
Cons
  • So far so good

Worth every penny. good for lock replacement parts

This is just what I need to add remote access to a steel frame door. It fits snugly in a standard D panel cutout. Has been working in a kindergarten on the doorstep for 6 months without any problems. All components are durable. I've used a few other brands that cost 6x more and work exactly the same at our other centers. Will definitely buy again and recommend to friends. All you really need is a power supply and a normally open push button switch to get it working. I have a locking detent…

Pros
  • ✅ All mounting hardware included, screw terminals for easy wiring
Cons
  • Clarity
