I really like this switch - I bought it earlier (almost same manufacturer and everything) which had a half circle and line because I thought it looked better. The problem was that the center of the button liked to rotate and the line was almost never straight up and down. Of course it's just aesthetic, but when I change something I want it to look right. Bought for use with a manual reverse light system which I fitted to my '68 VW Beetle (the car didn't come with taillights from the factory).
