So far, so good. But.

I got these packs a couple weeks ago for my dogs. My hubby and I love to back back camp, but decided it was time for our 5 yr old golden retriever & 4 yr old Vizsla to carry their own gear. After a long search we decided on these bc of the rvws. We have not field tested them yet, as the weather just turned nice & we haven't gone on our first camping trip just yet. I'll update if my opinions change after the field test.(For a TLDR- go to bottom of rvw)PRODUCT/QUALITY RVW:1. The material is a…

Pros
  • My dog now carries his water, food bowl and poops on hiking trails. Everyone is happy.
Cons
  • The backpack is too bulky for some dogs to comfortably wear

Send Me A New Pack good for me

- UPDATE 11/3 -OneTigris reached out to me fairly quickly when I posted my review and offered to send me a newly improved dog pack.I received the item after confirming my address within 7 days. The customer service was great and handled my feedback well.As for the product - I noticed the straps come with an elastic band to help hold any extra length of the strap. This is newly improved for me. I don't recall if the top handle is the same quality, but it seems sturdier. However, I would still…

Pros
  • Helps to build confidence and independence in your dog
Cons
  • The product may not be suitable for high-energy dogs prone to running and jumping

Good looking, solid pack

I bought this for my 90lb German Shepherd mix for hiking, long trail walks, trips to the Farmer's Market, etc. Basically for him to carry his own poop bags and my keys/wallet and some water. The pockets are definitely a good generous size and easily fit a few water bottles. The straps on it (for a breed of his shape - deep chest, narrow waist, fluffy neck) are pretty generous and would easily fit a larger dog. I'm still having some tweaking issues trying to find the right balance of making sure

Pros
  • Waterproof and easy to clean, making it ideal for outdoor adventures
Cons
  • The backpack may not be compatible with all types of harnesses or collars

Bear's travel bag use

Bear was adopted at 14 years old, it will be two years in September. His people gave him up, I guess thinking he got too old. I purchased this dog travel bag shortly after his adoption, I put it on him when we go out for walks around the block. It started as a way to store my sun glasses as we went from sunlight to dusk dark, to dark. Then I threw in a couple treats to enjoy as we get to the end of the walk. I lost the last of my two dogs to old age in January after 14 years, in 2017 I got Bear

Pros
  • Dog Backpacks for Dogs to Wear
Cons
  • It can quickly become uncomfortable for the dog during long hikes or camping trips

Works well to add a little weight to tire out the dog.

I have a 75 pound Doberman who is athletic and has a LOT of energy to burn. I got this pack in hopes that this would be a good way for her to not only carry her own items for hikes and long walks, but also as a way to add a little weight to her in order to tire her out faster. Dobermans are also apart of the "Working Class" breed and having a "job" can really also help with behavioral issues, which I've found to be true so far. After having this pack for a better of about 6 months I have to say…

Pros
  • Dogs
Cons
  • The product may not be suitable for small dogs, as it is designed for medium and large breeds

Best pack you’ll find for large dogs

I bought this pack years ago for my 130 lb mastiff. At the time, this was the only pack I could find that would fit her measurements. It’s been through rain, snow, heat, and is now on it’s 2nd dog. That’s right, this pack outlasted my mastiff, and is now being used by our very chonky 100 lb German shepherd/bulldog mix.Although there was nothing wrong with this pack, at some point I decided we should upgrade to a pack with larger panniers and a more weatherproof fabric. The search only left me…

Pros
  • Perfect for dog owners who love to go on outdoor adventures with their pets
Cons
  • The backpack can become muddy or wet in outdoor environments, making it difficult to clean

My husky looks so good

Ok so my husband felt like this wasn’t gonna work with our husky Pitt rott mix. He’s a little wild and leash training has been a rough ride. That said he knows the pack means fun. He hails out water, his water and collapsible bowl and his poop bags (both full and empty). He got so many great comments while we were out on our hike. This one is a great buy

Pros
  • Made from high-quality materials to ensure durability and longevity
Cons
  • The backpack can potentially cause an injury to the dog if not secured properly

Game changer: my feedback

I have been using this back pack for while now, and I feel the time is right to leave my review. First of all this is a game changer for hiking. Chuck and I do a lot of vigorious hiking, always exploring new ground and sometimes I don’t want to bring a bag, yes I’m selfish. But if I don’t want to carry anything I just put my things in his bag! It’s such a luxury. I keep everything in there! Once your dog gets over the foreign object strapped on its back, it’s awesome. Took my dog about 3 or 4…

Pros
  • Adjustable straps to fit securely and comfortably on medium and large-sized dogs
Cons
  • The backpack can restrict the dog's natural panting ability, causing them to overheat

Snug and comfortable

This is my pups first pack and he took to it well. It is ready to adjust and use right out of the box. My dog is a 62# shepherd and the medium fit him fine, he was right on the edge of the measurements. I would recommend sizing up if your dog has a big chestThe pack didn't move around, even through out visit to the dog park. He was able to run around just fine wearing the pack. Also the pack is very sturdy. I included the harness pic for those who use them. There are two areas for improvement…

Pros
  • Ideal for active and adventurous dogs who love to explore the great outdoors
Cons
  • The backpack may not have enough capacity to carry all the necessary items for a camping or hiking trip

Great for my working German Shepard

I bought this at the recommendation of my trainer. She suggested I purchase packs and put some weight in it for my 80# 1year old German Shepard. He needed a job and some weight to wear him out more. He carried 2 liters (1 in ea side) along with his dishes and food, an extra leash, poop bags and a small bag with emergency supplies. The fit was great, it’s easy to put on and adjust. The each side bag has plenty of room. The dark grey was great as we’ve had some dirty muddy hikes and it doesn’t show…

Pros
  • Enhances your dog's outdoor experience by allowing them to carry their own gear
Cons
  • It can be challenging to fit the backpack to dogs with special needs, such as those with injuries or disabilities

Heavy duty best in my review

Was surprised how well built this is for such a good price. We have a standard poodle, he's a mid sized dog 1 year. We needed to find a way to help burn more energy off on our walks. He carries our water bottles and his poop bags. Sometimes he carries the car keys and our wallets as well. The pack doesn't bother him, he gets kind of excited to wear it. Although he does sometimes reverse himself out of it now that he taught himself to do so. I'd recommend this product.

Pros
  • Dog Saddle Bag
Cons
  • The backpack may limit the dog's visibility and agility, making it difficult to respond to sudden obstacles

Met expectations best in my review

Love this thing- so does my dog, Bronco, who had just put it on for the first time in the picture. I considered many more expensive different fabric type bags based on reviews about stitching quality for the previous version of this product, and my desire to eventually take him backpacking. Took a gamble because it was priced right to find out and I like the durability of canvas. I was looking to give him a job to do on walks to expend his heeler and young energy and it definitely helped the…

Pros
  • Multi-functional Dog Harness Backpack
Cons
  • The black color can attract more heat during hot weather, making it uncomfortable for the dog

Great tool to have in my review

Love this back pack. I got it for my 1 year old mix who has a ton of energy and is really over aroused by her environment. Along with daily training we use this on walks to give her something else to focus on and help burn off a little energy. I put a 1lb weight on each side and use this during walks. It stays out and has padding under the clips to protect her skin and keep it comfortable. I always check it periodically on hikes or walks to make sure it’s not rubbing to much on any areas but so

Pros
  • Comfortable to wear and doesn't restrict movement
Cons
  • The backpack can cause discomfort if the dog is wearing it for too long

Great backpack best in my review

This backpack has really helped our dog focus on the walk rather than everything else and he can carry all of our water at the same time. I’ll be ordering another for our other dog soon. The price was reasonable and the quality is great!

Pros
  • Comes with a portable dog bowl for hydration on the go
Cons
  • The product may not be suitable for dogs with sensitive skin or allergies

Great saddlebag in my review

Ordered a size large for my 70lb mixed breed. His chest measures 33". Bottom strap is adjustable. bags fit will and hold a lot! Very handy for walks around town as well as hiking. Does not rub weird which was my biggest concern. I do not attach a leash to the bags although it does have two D rings.

Pros
  • Apparel & Accessories
Cons
  • It may restrict movement and limit your dog's ability to run or play freely

Perfect Pack for Pup Adventures

Love this dog pack! I was looking for something that had adequate storage space but also wasn’t too bulky and big for our hiking trips. Perfect for storing extra dog items and gear. I ordered the Large size for my 85 pound Shepherd mix.

Pros
  • Lightweight and doesn't add too much weight to your dog's back
Cons
  • The backpack may be too heavy for the dog to carry for an extended period

Ready for hikes for my opinion

I have a 70 lb chow chow and this pouch def helps out with holding what he needs when we go out. I got the size large for him bc he’s a thick boy and it fits perfect.

Pros
  • Allows your dog to carry their own food, water, and toys, which is convenient and saves space in your backpack
Cons
  • The backpack may not provide enough stability for dogs with a tendency to pull or tug

Great quality, great price!

These bags are great! The size medium fits my 30lb Rottweiler puppy very well. She has room to grow in it also! I got it for her to be my disc golf caddy for my store (Ran Disc Golf LLC) and it looks like it’s going to work perfectly!

Pros
  • High visibility reflective strip for extra safety when walking or hiking at night
Cons
  • The zippers may not be durable enough to withstand regular outdoor use
