Renewed Ultimate Ears Megaboom Charcoal Wireless Mobile Bluetooth Speaker - Waterproof and Shockproof Review

This is by far one of the best Bluetooth speakers I've had. The app is ok nothing special but the sound quality is really good. I'll buy a second one and use them together (that's where the app comes in) to fill the room with stereo sound.

Headphones shown but not included. The sound is nowhere near as good as the smaller Megaboom we have, and the bass is almost non-existent. Wanted one for Alexa but its sound matches our tiny Echo Dot. The only reason to keep it is that it connects to Alexa in another room so we can still listen to music. I'm not sure if the sound is worth doing a refurbished model or just a crappy one.

I love my mega booms. This was the third bluetooth speaker I bought and my first "upgraded" bluetooth speaker. It was fine for the most part, but it randomly disconnects from Bluetooth when I'm having fun with another speaker. It works fine on its own, but I bought it specifically to pair with another one I have at home. I'm not sure I'll be making an updated product again. But great sound! Bass is great!

Great speaker. The sound is incredibly good with music and gets really loud. One of the reasons I got this was to listen to podcasts in the shower as my phone just didn't get loud enough to hear over water. Some strange sharpness in some letters through the speaker. I thought it was a specific podcast I was listening to, but I've noticed it in all conversations. This is a minor issue and does not require a star deduction. Would recommend to anyone who asks for it.

Was so close to spending $199 on one of these but was on vacation and decided on this one. I think we were out for a while and it might have been broken, lost or something spilled on it. The design and sound are excellent. It took a few tries to get the "sticky" feature to work - here you can chain two (or more - apparently up to 100 or so) together. I use it in my bedroom for stereo effects. It would be nice to have a stretcher for the summer. The sound quality is excellent, even outdoors in a large garden.
