I used this spring infrequently (about once or twice a month) for 9 months until it broke. Therefore I cannot recommend this product. With no return address or company name there is no one to speak to and exchange.

The buyer should probably be told that the foam strips are in the nib. Changed the spring twice, works great. When the nib was first sent to me I installed it and thought the foam strips weren't included, but after a few weeks when I started using it I noticed that the strips were hanging off the nib.

New spring broke after a month of use. We use Blue Flame's pitching machine to deliver consistent hits for BP when not pitching live with our touring team. I'll admit we use this pitcher quite a bit for the team, but we usually get a full season out of it. This spring lasted only a month.

This spring will fit both Blue Flame and Black Flame machines. I use my Black Flame machine a lot and at the highest (fastest) speed setting, which puts a lot of stress on the rocker spring and spring pin. Over time, the spring bolt will wear, weakening it and creating dangerous conditions. This screw must be checked every time the spring is changed. This kit, which includes the spring, foam guides and rocker arm spring mounting screw, is the perfect replacement spring.

I have enjoyed this throwing machine for a number of years. I keep the car in my garage as I want to prevent weathering and rusting. The original spring lasted for several years and then broke. Please note that I am currently using the device on the highest/fastest settings. Bought a replacement spring. Worked for a few months and then broke. I buy another spare spring because we use the machine regularly. Overall, the nib fits just like the original, but I'm disappointed that it didn't last at
