Description of 🔪 UltraSource 449414 Precision-Cut Butcher Knife, 8" Fluted Blade

8-inch fluted blade is ideal breaking down entire roasts into smaller pieces. High-carbon molybdenum steel is cryogenically treated to resist rust and retain its edge for longer. Textured handle is liquid welded where blade meets composite handle for easy cleaning. Blade and handle are balanced with front and rear safety bolsters to minimize hand fatigue and provide a confident grip. Preferred choice for industrial processors, butcher shops, grocery and meat markets

Very sharp knife, fits chef's knife

This is a great knife for slicing pork loin or small roasts. It's incredibly sharp, you get clean cutting edges, and it cuts easily. Much better than the dull knives you get in many block kits, it makes a world of difference when you have a lot of meat to cut.

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

super sharp! Good price!

Bought to cut a brisket and was amazed at how sharp it is! Made my chest trim quick and easy. But don't go too fast. This thing can roll you just as easily! I have paid more for "high quality" knives in the past and this knife is sharper than any other.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Hard to say

Ideal for game processing.

I have processed several deer and pigs with it. It's strong enough to squeeze the vertebrae, but holds up well enough to make thin cuts. The only drawback is that there is no cover. I was planning on leaving it in my truck for handling game in the field, but didn't want the blade to be dangling without a guard.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for older people

Incredibly good for chef knives

I bought this knife as a spare for burning some deer and pigs, boning and butchering which made it great. I quickly realized that this is just a great knife in every way. I've been using it in the kitchen for a long time, from slicing tomatoes to working with large meats. I can't believe what he can do for the price.

Pros
  • I keep my fists
Cons
  • too dull

I have the wrong knife: Chef's knife

I have to reconsider my last review. However, I got the wrong knife 🔪 BUT. I LOVE IT. I've been using it for just over a month and it's the sharpest knife in the slaughterhouse, after sharpening it a few times it's all broken and sharp as a razer blade. I apologize for my last review as I am an inexperienced butcher who has known my craft for more than 3 months. I will be buying more of these in different sizes. it's not the only fall. Meat grade NFS safe metal but as sharp as possible

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Obsolete

MEAT KNIVES for cutlery and knife accessories

Let me start by saying that I have been a professional butcher or cutter for almost 35 years. However, I didn't have high hopes for this UltraSource. Butcher Knife, 8" Serrated Blade. After using this (HEAVY) for the last 90 days. I am VERY IMPRESSED, the knife feels great in the hand, feels good in the hand, makes precise cuts with ease. That's as long as You keep your knives sharp I do and this knife picks up stone fast and can hold the blade as long as any expensive knife I have I will…

Pros
  • quick change
Cons
  • almost never

Incredibly the best of cutlery and knife accessories

I bought this knife as a spare hammer to burn, bone and butcher some deer and hogs which has done great. I quickly realized that this is just a great knife in every way. I've been using it in the kitchen for a long time, from slicing tomatoes to working with large meats. I can't believe what he can do for the price.

Pros
  • Feels great
Cons
  • Easily repairable

Solid value for money, as sharp as other more expensive blades in my kitchen. I work in a concert hall kitchen and they do a great job and the orange handles are clearly visible in my work area. I bought this 8 inch crushing knife and 6 inch flexible boning knife. So far I am very happy with the edge and the performance. It glides through chicken and pork.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
