Works great if you have a flat stomach. if not then---

I also own an UltraAspire Lumen 600 which is an amazing belt light. But the 600 is slightly heavier than the 200. The 200's light beam has good spread and is quite bright at the maximum setting. I've found that at the brightest setting the light provides excellent contrast with the ground in front of you, even if you have bright car headlights on your face. • great product

  • I have some quirks

I've been running ultramarathons for almost two decades, although I mostly run 50 miles, not 100, and used to be a marathoner back then. I often run at night on the dusty/rocky trails of Southern California. I really wanted to like this product. On my first walk I took it for a run one evening and it was fine on the first climb. When conquering the first summit and on the descent, the battery fell out of the loops that hold it on the belt. After that, I haven't found a way to securely attach…

Almost Perfect, But Not Quite

I used an UltraAspire 800 lumen belt torch during a 100K race and it worked like clockwork...at first. I used it on the highest/brightest setting and felt like I was wearing a mini headlight around my waist. I love it! Also, I walked all by myself for most of my night. But then... the battery died. I literally stood still, in the middle of the desert, in the pitch black night, and called out a word I won't repeat here. (I'll give you a tip. It rhymes with duck.) Luckily, I had a 200-lumen Petzl
