To feel as comfortable as possible in it, I recommend ordering one size up. The seams are strong, the neck seam is taped for durability and comfort. The fabric is soft and the zip is lined with grosgrain ribbon to keep the very short zip from catching in children's hair or under a shirt. This is a rich true fleet. Fleece is soft and dense but not bulky. The model is designed for a slim fit. There are two front hand pockets that you can easily put your hands in to keep warm. This fleece is medium weight; it is good to wear it separately in spring and autumn and in several layers in winter. It fits well under a vest.

Very nice light jacket. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but I find this design to be more feminine, with seams on the front rather than the sides. The machine was cold with no tumble drying and dry cleaning. If you expect this to get worn out and dirty a lot, think twice as it needs to be line dried. I deduct 1 star for that. I believe that a casual jacket worn by children should be washed and worn.

My son loves this fleece jacket, it's so soft and warm. It's still a bit chilly here in New York so I like to buy fleece as they are so soft and cozy on cold days. It's a little big for my son but that doesn't bother me knowing he won't outgrow it anytime soon. It is sewn very nicely and looks very high quality. This is a very warm fleece zip top. Ideally suited for very cold outside temperatures. My son wanted to fry at 67 degrees in our house within minutes of trying it on. It's soft and thick and appears to be well made. My 7 year old is skinny and a bit tall and wasn't tight but not loose at all. He could squeeze a thin, tight t-shirt underneath, but not a thicker one. It is generally true to size but has a more form fitting design.

Perfect fit and very warm. Comes out of the wash ready to wear with no pilling or wrinkles. This brand has proven to be durable and kids love their styles.

I received this jacket for my son. This is a very warm fleece jacket that doesn't itch. It's very soft and cuddly. My son only wore clothes at home to be loving. I've washed it a few times and haven't had the problem of the fleece sticking together like some fleece jackets do. The zipper closes without a hitch and we had no issues with skin snagging. The jacket fits normal in my opinion, but my son likes his clothes to fit. I highly recommend this jacket

This sweater is well made and looks beautiful. The color is not saturated, which gives the impression that it has been previously washed. Fleece is warm. It's soft but not super soft. This jacket seems to be more suitable for slim children. I like that the zipper is hidden from the inside so the cold metal never touches the skin.

This is good wool. It's nice and warm there - nothing to complain about. However, this is not the softest fluff. It's thick and warm - and that's crucial in winter. The jacket is well stitched, the zipper slides easily and looks good. The sleeves of this jacket are a little short and it's a little tight.
