🧱 Canvas Classic Blocks by Uncle Goose Review

The blocks are nice and as expected BUT I paid extra for a canvas bag which I was expecting to be the uncle goose logo as in the picture. Mine has an ugly blue anchor - a complete block mismatch! I would have just ordered the blocks and saved $12 if I had known it was going to be an anchor. I only want to get what is in the picture!

You can go anywhere and buy cheap building blocks for your kid. But they put them in their mouths and chew them like little children. I'm sure when my grandkids play with this they are dealing with a quality lead-free product. Totally worth the extra money. They also support small businesses. Be sure to buy a canvas bag. It makes pickup a breeze.

I bought these for my nephew's first birthday. The blocks are beautifully finished. There are a few things that drew me to them: 1) made in the USA so I support a local business, 2) the paint is non-toxic so if it does chip like paint usually does around toddlers, my nephew is in safety and 3) they are a decent size. So if he tries to chew them, he can't swallow them and choke! They were worth every penny!

I was waiting to give this to my grandson until I realized he stopped chewing everything. I read that the wood is soft enough to be chewed. Yes the blocks are expensive but they are BEAUTIFUL. The blocks were a little bigger than I thought, which is good. and I love how "lightweight" they are compared to their size. I want to buy more sets of these blocks and add them to this classic set. and by the way, don't panic like at the beginning when i opened the box and couldn't find the canvas bag at

These are my favorite dice for the birth of a child. They are made in the USA and the colors and patterns are beautiful. Some of the letters also have textured carvings to make things more interesting for a child (and me! I play with them too!). I also bought math pads and french pads, both were great. At the very least, math blocks give you instructions on how to use blocks to encourage child development - spelling, colors, counting, etc., which I think is excellent. The packaging was perfect…
