Similar Products in Comparison

When it comes to boys' jackets and coats, the Under Armour Boys' Day Trekker Hooded Hybrid Jacket stands out from the competition. Let's take a look at how it compares to similar products in the market.

Nike Boys' Windrunner Jacket: While both jackets offer lightweight insulation and water repellency, the Under Armour Day Trekker excels with its superior breathability and stretchy sleeves and hood, providing added mobility during activities.

Columbia Boys' Glennaker Rain Jacket: Unlike the Glennaker Rain Jacket, the Under Armour Day Trekker combines the benefits of both a rain jacket and a warm quilted jacket. It repels water with the storm technology and keeps you warm with the lightweight insulation.

The North Face Boys' Resolve Reflective Jacket: While the Resolve Reflective Jacket provides excellent waterproof protection, the Under Armour Day Trekker offers a more versatile option. It not only keeps you dry but also ensures breathability, making it suitable for various outdoor activities.

DB new review - my new review

I bought the medium for my 50% height and weight of nine years. I want it to last a year and it looks like that's what it's for. It's thin but warm in today's 30 degrees. I have it to wear when he's golfing in the cold and it will be perfect for keeping him warm without being bulky. Good price for a reliable brand

Pros
  • A little undersized. So get bigger. My sons wear it often. It keeps him warm and is flexible.
Cons
  • May not be strong enough - some customers report quality issues with stitching and materials.

Poorly sewn - a big problem with the zipper

My son received this coat 2 weeks ago and the zipper has never worked since we got it. It gets stuck almost every time he puts it on. He's a capable 9-year-old - that shouldn't be a problem for him.

Pros
  • Excellent quality! And my sons favorite!
Cons
  • The sleeve of the coat came off after two socks. Do you want to know how to get it back?

Love it! in my rating

I bought the guys 3 colors in 3 sizes. These are excellent quality jackets perfect for spring or fall. There were no issues with flashes as written in other reviews. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • My son likes that it is not chubby but can keep him warm on cold days.
Cons
  • Limited Color Options - Black may not appeal to all parents and toddlers, limiting the product's appeal.

Not warm enough for winter weather

Grandson loved it, barely took it off for the first week, tried to pretend it was warm enough when it got really cold, but a good transitional jacket. Height and weight I do not know offhand - 7 years. old

Pros
  • Not bulky but warm
Cons
  • Not suitable for extreme weather - the hybrid jacket may not provide adequate warmth in colder temperatures.

New Size Up review: my review

My son just turned 3 and a size 4 is perfect for him to give him a little room to grow next year. The color is excellent. Lightning is great. He loves to.

Pros
  • Bought for Ben, my grandson from Maryland. He likes the jacket
Cons
  • This jacket was worn 3 times, the zipper is already broken.

Perfect jacket in my opinion

We live in a colder area of the US and need a thinner jacket to fit in a car seat. This jacket is perfect for that and warm enough for short winter walks to and from the car. It's also warm and light enough for fall/spring jackets. Fleece lining, windstopper, partially water-repellent. I will buy one in the next size up once it outgrows this one.

Pros
  • We bought this jacket for our 5 year old son and it is a very good jacket and fits great.
Cons
  • High Price - Compared to other baby jackets on the market, this product may be more expensive than some parents are willing to pay.

My 8 year old son loves it! Although the size is bigger.

My son wanted this when we checked online. He's in 3rd grade and is picky about jackets. He wanted red and luckily I read the sizing reviews and ordered a size up. He is size 8 and I ordered 10/12. When it arrived it was an under armor carrier and the retail tag was $85 so it was a lot cheaper on Amazon. Very happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • fine
Cons
  • Potential Discomfort – The hood and tight fit of the jacket can be uncomfortable for some babies, causing discomfort or anxiety.

The zipper broke after about a week.

Really bad quality. The zipper started to loosen after a few uses and ripped in the armpit when my son put it on. I don't think I will buy UA products again.

Pros
  • Nice but not the warmth we were looking for. Better for early spring or mid late fall.
Cons
  • The quality is terrible. My son has worn it several times and it is unraveling at the seams and the letters are peeling off!

Cute, comfy but oversized

Very nice. Green is lighter in person. Runs small, so I would take one size larger. My 4 year old is about 42 pounds and we bought him a size 7 and he fits great with little room to manoeuvre.

Pros
  • Son is in good shape, he is 6 years old and wears size 6 shirts. He said it kept him warm and not too big.
Cons
  • The zipper broke on the second wear.

The boys love them.

This jacket is thin and packable but my 8 year old looks like it will get very warm. The sleeves are thin but lined with microfleece. Very convenient and good for the car. Maybe not heavy enough for extended outdoor play under 30 but right now both my boys wear these jackets under 30 daily. I can't get them to wear anything else!

Pros
  • Machine washable
Cons
  • Slightly torn
