Old but useful stuff about phones and accessories

I was happy to find this hardware because it made the system I just received fully usable. The price was very good and the equipment was in great condition.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I'll write back later

phone is ok It's a bit annoying because I bought.

One of the batteries in the phone is not working. Everything else is fine with the phone. It's a little annoying because I bought this product because I had 2 phones. The battery costs $17. For the price I could just buy a better phone.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Great product great price

I was a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews for this product but they seemed good or not so I gave it a try. So far I've been very happy with the phone. I had excellent sound quality and reception. Setup is easy and the remote access capabilities (important to me) are excellent.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Hard to say

Not enough range

We have an answering machine base station that's in the middle of our eat-in kitchen. The WiFi range is only for 1 room, so we cannot use a 2 room phone in the office. The wireless range of our previous phone, the Vtech 5831, has more than doubled. On the plus side, the answering machine is fine, and like Vtech, this phone doesn't interfere with our wireless connection.

Pros
  • Still happy
Cons
  • Something else

Uniden DXAI5588-2 Best in Office Electronics

I bought this phone to replace the original one I had. Lightning came and fried the base on my original. Yes, it was necessary to invest in a surge protector with a phone line receiver. Anyway, I've never had any issues with this phone or the previous one. Clean without intervention. My original phone was probably at least 3 or 4 years old when lightning caught it. I was just lucky enough to find a refurbished one at a great price. Now I have 4 phones instead of 2, but unfortunately only 3…

Pros
  • High test scores for support and durability
Cons
  • Security

Would you like to speak for 55 seconds?

This phone doesn't deserve a star, it deserves ZERO. The phone only works for 55-60 seconds, after which the call drops. I studied the manual, re-registered phones, changed channels and security codes, it works. I called tech support, they say there must be interference from nearby electronics. Our old phones worked great on top of a computer closet and a few feet from the microwave (where the plugs are, so we didn't have a choice), so why not work with them? They offered a different number…

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • cable is shorter than other models

Absolutely useless - noise and interference

Well, I've learned my lesson. Never buy anything without reading the reviews here. I set up this phone yesterday so I have a reliable phone for an important call this morning. I canceled the entire meeting because everyone on the call could hear the hiss and buzz of my phone. I had to hang up and call my house phone to be heard. I had a Uniden once and they were fine so I can't see what's wrong with this model but it's totally useless. I already disabled it and will buy Panasonic DEC 6.0…

Poor quality and service

My wife bought me this cordless phone for Christmas. Since I got it up and running more than two months ago, I haven't had anything that compares to quality phone service. None of the three phones work within ten feet of the base station. All phones have a static and constant buzzing tone no matter where they are in relation to the base station. I've followed every step of the troubleshooting user guide to no avail. My calls to Uniden customer service lasted over 15 minutes before I got through

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors

If you like static, this phone is for you!

I had this phone approx. It's been 9 months now maybe longer. And I really don't understand how I survived using this two phone system for so long. Tonight, however, I took a giant step up to better quality and design with the Panasonic KX-TG 5432M Dual System. This dual tube is the worst I have ever encountered in a radio system. From the moment I installed it the static electricity was terrible. If you move more than ten feet from the base unit, you'll hear someone gargling gravel or a rabid…
