I knew it was too good to be true

Well I recently installed my Uniseal with a 1.25 paddle bit and it's leaking. No, it's pouring. I'm not sure what went wrong, but it would be nice to get some advice on what type of glue to use to stop the leak. Any suggestions?

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad but...

The best gasket I've ever used!

We built a filter for our pond. It works well. It was difficult to figure out how to insert the PVC pipe, but we figured it out. My husband and I have lost strength over the years. But he had the brilliant idea of pushing the PVC pipe through the universal seal with a bar clamp. It worked great!

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Simple and won't leak

These things work great on curved surfaces - never had a leak. For larger ones, take a coarse file and BARELY bevel the edge of the pipe and bevel it back about 3/4 inch. Lubricate the inside of the Unisil with silicone. Use a tee at the end of the pipe so there is something to push on. I use them in pond filter tanks and aquariums. With their help, they also made filters from flower pots and liners for air buckets. Also worked on a preformed pond, an old pool sand filter (on the curved part)…

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged
