The programming instructions included in the box are incorrect

I was very frustrated trying to program the remotes according to the instructions provided and was not given a customer service phone number even though the instructions said the remote could not be programmed, Contact the customer support. . Having said that, I found the corrected programming instructions online and the remotes now work. A lot of time was lost due to this error.

Works on my old garage door opener DIP switch.

They're a bit difficult to program, but overall they work great. I recently bought a house with two garage doors and they were original 90's openers that used dip switches for their code. For that, these are great. The range seems better than the original remote that I received with the house. I do not recommend using a visor clip unless you care about your visor or headliner.

  • Sleek design

It works with rolling code and DIP switches

I spent a lot more time looking for this thing than programming it (read and follow the instructions - they work!). So many similar items with bad reviews or even items that once had dip switches but have been removed and the description has not been updated. You'll have to dig to understand if it's operator error or poor quality. It was cheap and worked great. It took a bit of fishing line to attach the metal clip (thanks to my kids' ingenuity) but it never comes loose (no need) and attaches…

Thrills and wild adventures can be yours.

I gave this product 2 stars because it really works. It was easy to program and will open/close the door. So far, so good. The problem with this opener is that it randomly opens the door WITHOUT PRESSING ANY BUTTON. Want to open your garage door at 3:17 a.m. so all your tools are visible to anyone who happens to be nearby? This is the remote control you are looking for! Would you like the door to close while you work in the yard? Again this is the product you are looking for! Life is definitely

Master 41A5021-2F

August 22, 2020 Works on our really old Craftsman 41A5021-2F (with orange programming key) but not according to the programming instructions that came with that keyboard. the orange button lights up. DO NOT HOLD THE ORANGE BUTTON. YOU WILL DELETE ALL CODES ON ANY REMOTE CONTROL. Second, while the Craftsman programming light was on, I followed the instructions that came with my new keyboard (I was given instruction #2 as per the seller's description). Then the Craftsman LIGHTS (not the little…

Difficult to incorporate into keyboards and remote controls

Advantages: Keyboard lights up brightly, programming instructions are clear and correct. No errors or reboots when programming the keyboard. My old keyboard had a feature that if you press enter again within a few (ten?) seconds, it again sends a codeless signal to the opener. Sometimes it was helpful. This is the code you need to enter every time you want to send a signal to your opener. It is in order. Cons: Under no circumstances should you use the included screws unless you have drilled a…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Compatibility

As already noted, the instructions are terrible. Yes, you must FIRST pair the remote with your opener using the STANDARD opener codes (1111, 2222) and THEN use the PIN change procedure to set the actual opener code. They also mention a "temporary" guest pin. I think what they mean is that you can set the secondary code if you only have one opener and then manually change it to something else when you're done I think. I have two openers, so I don't have a "guest pin on time". And yes, machine…

Poorly translated instructions into English and poor quality screws.

Although the product works well, I only received it today. It comes with a battery and two mounting screws. The screws are very bad, the heads break off even when using a new Phillips or flathead screwdriver. If you're having trouble getting this thing to work, let me offer some help after you put the battery in (yay!) (1). Press and hold the black button for 5 seconds to restart the device. (2) Then press * and # simultaneously (at the same time). (3) The keyboard backlight turns red, then…
