It works with rolling code and DIP switches

I spent a lot more time looking for this thing than programming it (read and follow the instructions - they work!). So many similar items with bad reviews or even items that once had dip switches but have been removed and the description has not been updated. You'll have to dig to understand if it's operator error or poor quality. It was cheap and worked great. It took a bit of fishing line to attach the metal clip (thanks to my kids' ingenuity) but it never comes loose (no need) and attaches securely to the visor.
