The suction cup is not only strong under pressure, but the built-in adhesive makes it very strong. The suction lever is a bit tricky, you have to open it twice to get real power. It can be a little confusing, but it's easy enough to understand once you try it. It stays on my window 24/7 and has never dropped windows. It holds my phone in place with no issues. I haven't checked whether the glue is actually washable, but I still don't think it will be a problem for the quality of the product.
