This is by far the best for a kayak paddle The first few times in the spring I was like a man, it's ok if I get a little wet. early spring . Water . cold . ordered and THANKS dry clothes lol love how they added little rings to keep the protection in place.

They were a little tight on the right side of the paddle where the oversized handle is but with some water to ease the movement it sat progressed and fitted well. Also, they do what they're supposed to and seem to be a little better at it than the originals.

Has a small gap as they don't quite fit my paddle. You will slide up and down. I put them at the very end of the oar and now the water doesn't seem to get on my knees. But you can measure the diameter of the paddle before ordering.

I used the supplied o-rings as directed but they were not required for my 31mm blades. The drip rings are very snug on my case with no o-rings. O-rings have an internal diameter of 21mm and are suitable for blades with a diameter of at least 28mm. The o-rings fit into the recesses on the top of the drip rings and fit snugly against the bottom of the drip ring. I have included a copy of the instructions that came with the drip rings. This guide should also be helpful.

These drip rings pair perfectly with My Lifetime kayak paddles (the standard paddles that come with the Emotion Tide kayak). However, I haven't had a chance to take them out on the water and will definitely update my review if they don't work properly. I saw another review that mentioned these rings being a poor fit for the Lifetime paddle, but I'm not sure if that reviewer used the o-rings normally or not at all.
