Bright beautiful

It's only day one. Let me tell you they look amazing! Installation is just a matter of removing the case, reconnecting the cable, and reassembling the case. It took me 5 minutes per side with the right tools. (Phillips drill and long Phillips screwdriver) I was so close to buying a new headlight (composite) but found out they make sealed beam LED headlights. And the smoked ones looked good in the photo on Amazon. So I thought I'd give the old sealed retro style headlights a try again. And my…

Brighter than the standard (amber), halogen (white) or even standard (blue) I've used.

I bought them to replace my headlights. I've already replaced the factory glazed rails in my '93 van. I wasn't overjoyed when the original parts snapped, but the ability to upgrade to LED headlights helped me quickly overcome that hassle. At this point I can say that they are significantly brighter than the "normal" sealed beam headlights (also halogen headlights) and the replacement units I replaced them with. 75% bounce! 1 was DOA, the other had low beam, no high beam! TERRIBLE QUALITY!

I have been an ASE certified automotive technician for many years and even longer as an accessory fitter. I'm just saying this so people reading this review will understand that this wasn't my first rodeo. One light was 100% DOA out of the box while the other light only worked on low beam.
