With quality AV receivers no longer coming with a good remote, and with Logitech costing a limb, this is a GREAT remote. Programmable and very flexible, just need time to program. Purchased to replace the horrible remote that came with my Edifier r2000DB speakers. Despite Edifier's claims that their speakers can't work with universal remotes, this has worked brilliantly. The learning function was fairly easy once you got the hang of it and the features were perfectly reproduced. Sturdy construction and excellent coverage.

Works like my original Sony unit which has always been difficult to use (sometimes I had to press the buttons very hard). seemed simpler than the original. The delivery was two days late. Promised on Sunday and received an email from Revain claiming it shipped on Saturday, but it didn't arrive until Tuesday (and Revain now shows it shipped on Monday).

First of all, this particular remote was a few years ago and I was glad to find it again. I know people are pissed that it doesn't come with manuals. It's not that hard to do a little research on the internet to find online PDF manuals. Anyway, not only does this remote work with my TV, Blu-ray, cable box via codes, but thanks to the remote's learning feature, I've gotten it to work with my AC window box, ceiling fan, and HDMI selector switch. This is a remote that I highly recommend.

I have been using this exact remote for almost 7 years and was delighted to have been able to replace it with the exact same one for almost half what I paid for the original. This is the second time. The first block lasted 6 or 7 years. Still works, but sometimes requires additional presses (volume/mute buttons) to activate.
