🤘 UT Longhorns Metal Auto Emblem in State Shape with Debossed Design and Orange Trim Review

Well made and really matches my blue car. Back - attached tape. There are 3 small adhesive strips on the back of the symbol. There really should be a piece of tape covering the entire back of the icon.

See photo - this is a joke and doesn't look like a real Bevo symbol at all. UT Longhorn has rounder horns, less pointed ears and a rounder muzzle. Do yourself a favor and book the real deal at the UT Co-Op Bookstore. Just search for Universitycoop, go to Gifts, then Cars. I gave 2 stars because at least the quality of the product is good.

I have bought a Longhorn decal for every car I have ever owned (20+ years). All others were about the same; this is off topic. The adhesive looks like a thin white foam that doesn't match the black chrome trim at all, and it's much weaker than any other decal adhesive I've had - in fact, the left horn doesn't stick at all. I will use this decal until it inevitably peels off and ruins my new car's paintwork, and then I will replace it with a better decal. Very disappointed.

The emblem looked great in the box but when I started to stick it it was clear that the tape was crooked and if I didn't remove it completely and center it it will the white band visible and looks ugly. After having to remove and reattach it, it appears to have lost most of its adhesion. Basically, it's either an inferior production or a marriage to be resold. Bought one for each of our cars. I have the two tone matte chrome and they contrast well with the cars. Their depth makes them more substantial than most I see. I was very pleased with the double sided foam tape that fully covers the entire back of the emblem. I ordered double foam expecting to have to remove the glue (as I've read in some reviews) but it wasn't necessary. They appear to be firmly bonded and should not let water through. I think if I ever have to remove them they will come off…

I bought this Longhorn emblem because of the advertised size and the orange frame colour. Three issues were identified with the emblem I received: 1) the emblem is not the advertised width of 3 1/2 inches, which would fit my SUV, but is almost 4 inches (actually 3 7/8 inches), so it doesn't fit. and also on the slightly rounded back of my car. 2) The 3M adhesive pads are 3 rectangles that don't adequately cover the back of the emblem, making the tips of the horns a great place to grab wash…
