Bought 2 of these last year, one for a boat and one as a spare. I installed one on the boat and it lasted for 3 trips on the lake (about 4 hours of work). Installed a second one today and it was bad right out of the box. Not worth the money, ordered a new Sierra Marine pump today.

This block was advertised as being for a low pressure carburetor. This puts a lot of pressure on the carbureted boat (unless they sent me the WRONG one). After installing this pump, he pushed the gas out of the carburetor. So I took it to a boat mechanic who rebuilt the carburetor to find out if the problem was the pump putting too much pressure on the carburetor boat.
