Glad I found them, very comfortable

The most comfortable pair of handlebars I have found. Finding gear sucks. The Tektro 4.1 Aero rear brakes are too big to fit, but can be sanded down for a snug fit. I also have gears that don't really work for this, so I took some ends of the rods from my thrift store to glue them on. Perfect and smooth.

Good bike BUT.

I bought a racing bike for my 60th birthday. However, as a shorty, I had problems with the steering wheel. Bought these BUT since I also had to pivot the stem towards the saddle, these (straighter) handlebars didn't offer enough room for my knees when pedaling. That's good, but I ended up buying the Retrospect Pursuit, which works great!

The ends are bent enough for brake switches.

I mounted it on my road bike. My back can't take falls anymore, but the position of the hood is okay. This Bullhorn model curves up high enough to accommodate a Shimano 105 combo brake lever and derailleur combo. I have Avid 7 mechanical disc brakes which I had to tweak a bit to bring the pads close enough to so that they do not fall off the steering wheel lever. A little trouble made a $14 road bike mod that I can use again. Much luck

Exactly as described

Bought these handlebars to replace the factory handlebars on my road bike and am very happy with the purchase. They are made from very high quality aluminum and the black finish looks fantastic. The horns are well thought out in width and height and are quite sturdy. I wouldn't use them if you're putting a lot of force on them as I could feel a slight deviation in the geometry when pulling on the ends of the horns while accelerating. All in all, they serve their purpose and are definitely worth

These are really good pens.

I am very happy with these handlebars. My bike had forward-facing drop bars that made me lean too much forward (back surgery guy here). I swapped them out and couldn't be happier. As you can see in the picture, I positioned them in a more traditional way, with the handles close to me. The only thing I could add to warn buyers is that the actual handle portion is quite short so handles should be shorter. Otherwise, if you're looking for that style of handlebar, this is a winner.

Pros
  • Handlebars, stems and stems
Cons
  • Functionality
