Bright color but not durable

Turns out this chain doesn't last long. Here we are, 240 miles and less than 2 months later, and we have a broken tooth, a couple of bent teeth and a lot of chipped teeth. To be honest I've never had a chain slip until the tooth broke so I think my original review still stands. If you want the necklace to last at least a full season I would recommend spending a little more. First Review: The Asterisk looks and feels good. The chain no longer slips!

Sturdy and the mounting screws are a big plus.

I bent another chainring that didn't come with mounting bolts so I bolted something together with some bolts and screws. Which started to rust and were ugly. Nice that the mounting screws are included. Overall I haven't had a chain drop yet, although my bike isn't rated for 1x8 and the derailleur won't stay in place and causes the chain to drop over bumps, but that hasn't happened yet. I am very happy with it. (Note: if someone is converting their bike to 1 by, make sure your derailleur is…

I found it difficult to fit into my connecting rod.

This was a very simple attachment to the outside of my crank but ended up with the wrong chain. I even have a short bottom bracket to fit the new ring. With some modification I was able to install the ring on the inside of the crankset's center position, but this required a significant amount of filing of the metal of my crankset. I got it working for my setup, but I'm not used to hacking/making things that shouldn't work. Check your connecting rod to see if there are burrs in the outermost…

You need a file to install, otherwise everything is fine.

I replaced the smaller cog on the RaceFace crank with a bash ring. The thickness of the UPANBIKE ring did not match the RaceFace ring I was replacing, so I had to reuse the bolts from the original ring. Also, the inside edges of the lugs that contained the bolt holes interfered with the raised edge of the crank, so I had to file the edges of the lugs on the chainring to fit. Difficult to describe, photos will help. It wasn't a major inconvenience as I'm not afraid to manually tweak a bit to get
