It will do what it's supposed to do, but the handle will be very uncomfortable to hold for long periods of time because it's all metal.

Disappointed with this, the Revain looked much more solid, but they're definitely not built to do what they're supposed to do, at least not without a lot of effort. Should have spent more and found a better product elsewhere.

Excellent for tomatoes. I also use it for a bow but it's not stiff enough for that so it flexes but works. Just like the corers I had when I was making fast food in high school 30 years ago. I think the design will stand the test of time.

Works with common sense. You must support your neck during use. However, I bought it for delicatessen workers and due to the cheap alloy used, it bends very easily. I'm sure it will last a while for home use and some maintenance, but if you're going to be using it in an environment where a lot of people use it every day, look for something else with a stronger alloy that can handle the flex and breakage resists .
