The rope pulled out of the ball after about a half hour of use. It was only held in with a little knot and there’s no way a reattaching the rope. It was also supposed to come with an extra rope which it didn’t. The ball seems like a nice ball but if you can attach the rope to it it’s not worth much is a tetherball.

I normally don’t write bad reviews but this was a disappointing purchase. We bought this for our 6 year old and it didn’t last him playing with it more than 3 times. The rope came out of the hole. He didn’t even hit it hard. We tried to push it back in but it is structured so that the knot is the only thing holding the rope to the hole of the ball. It needs to be redesigned so a washer system holds it. I would not recommend this.

Ball is great and better than the one it replaced. The rope is a bit flimsy though and twirls - we just kept the old one we were using so not a big deal.

I liked the size and durability but unfortunately our 2year Golden Retriever was able to pull off some of rubber surface. I was using it on a pole with string for him to play but I think my poke was to low so he could still get a grip on it. The product was fine just not sturdy enough for our chewer

All I had to do was put air in the ball using the included needle and small pump, then attach to my pole. Nice padded colorful ball! Should be a lot of fun for my grandkids this summer.

Used for a dog to play tetherball & immediately got teeth holes in it ! need one that's made from tough material ! Thanks for attention.

Purchased 8 of these and after all 8 were pumped up, all 8 would not hold hair. It was all leaking out fast. Not a good product.

I recently purchased this tetherball for our fourth of July party. We spent quite an amount of time and money building the tetherball stand so that kids and adults could play. On the fourth we attached the ball and Grandma and her eight year old granddaugher played for about 10 minutes and then the eight year old challenged her dad. Very soft ball, but the needle hole didn’t seal when the needle was removed. Also it came with an extra needle, but it did not come with extra rope as it was described. Unfortunate. I was looking forward to a soft ball.

looks great but it wont hold air even for a few minutes. I inflated it and by the time i made it outside to hang it up, it was completely flat. I thought it might be the ball stretching out as it was new so I inflated it as the post and it was flat again in about 2 minutes.

The first tetherball wouldn’t inflate or hold air. Sent it back. The replacement lasted about a week before it broke beyond the point of repair. Would not recommend purchasing this item.

Warning. Literally broke within the first few minutes of stringing it up to tether pole. 12 & 15 year old kids for a couple minutes and it's in the trash. The attachment point at the top of the ball snapped off revealing that the only thing holding this ball together is about a 5mm cylinder of plastic. unless your buying this for a toddler be warned.

The rope ripped through on the first match. The design of the rope is a disc sewn into the panel. The rope has one small knot to keep it in place. Needless to say that once the action started the knot slipped through and no more tethered ball. Ball is soft, but design needs work. 10 and 12 y/o playing. Should not have broken that easily.

I bought this ball a few weeks ago but it actually came with a leak. I contacted the seller and they were very responsive and sent me a new one, not asking me to return the old leaked ball. The ball is super soft, my kids prefer to the previous "rubberish" style ball I originally bought. This feels more like a soft leather, easier on the hands but still good bounce you want from a tetherball. When we wear this one out we'll be back for a new one.

I missed the window for return and i never write reviews. Took it out of the box, blew it up, attached to a pole. Two 11 year old boys hit the ball maybe 20 times total, the one small knot that was lodged in it to hold, releases and the ball goes flying. I have to either figure out how to jam this cord back in or its a dog chew toy.not worth it, i bout on prime days and it was a waste, rather buy pack a gum, probably the same price and more enjoyment

I bought two of these and they both broke within 5 minutes. The first one with one hit. Really disappointed. Complete junk. Don't waste your money or your time. The rope separated from the inside of the ball and there is no way to repair.

We bought this to replace a tetherball that we had for years. This lasted a week or less and the ball came off of the rope and there is no way to reattach! I don't like to write bad reviews but this was a waste of money! We returned it promptly!

Our grand dog (Mini Australian Shepard) is addicted to tether balls. Until I purchased this one he had been through three of the regular rubber ones. His sharp teeth punctures them. This one has hung on for weeks. He has torn most of the outside covering off, but no holes so far! I just threw the rope over a limb and added a carabiner for quick release (I have to take it down, especially in hot weather, because he likes it so much I'm afraid he would overdo it).

I have had to return this item TWICE which requires me loading up 3 kids, one an infant, on the bus to take it to a return location TWICE. They ship it with the needle in the ball which causes the rubber around the air hole to alter. So when you pump it up and remove the needle, the air comes out and the ball will NOT stay inflated. Happened BOTH times. Got the first defective ball, went through the hassle of the return, received the replacement and had to repeat the process. Very sad children…
