These Mirkit batteries are a little more expensive than "generic" ones. I couldn't find a label of Baofeng OR Mirkit on the battery itself, so take that for what it's worth. Cost me $20.82 for a pack of two, build quality of the battery is good. time will tell the lifespan/longevity of it.If you need a spear battery why not buy the larger capacity one with decent price.

This is my second set of these 2100 mAh extended power batteries for my Baofeng UV-5R radios. The first set I purchase are still going strong, so when I bought another set of Baofeng UV-5R radios, I had to get a second set of these batteries. They do last longer between charging's so you're looking at about a full 8-9 hour battery at 70% usage and 30% standby time. No complaints here. I recommend these to any other UV-5R user.

I have to admit, I have yet to use this product. I bought it because it came highly recommended. What I can say, is that I have received 2 emails offering assistance with any questions or issues I might have with the radio. Pretty good follow up I'd say.

Received on time and correct . battery was almost fully charged so started to use it immediately . worked an 8 hr shift as a Range safety Officer / instructor and at end of shift still had ample charge . i ordered the 2 pack and fully charged the second and will keep it in my range bag and switch out as needed .

After contacting the vendor prior to buying the batteries and telling them that I would test them, I still received 2 batteries that were not even as good as the standard Boefeng battery. One battery was 1629 Mah the other was 1700 Mah. I believe that the Chinese manufacturers either have their own standards for defining Mah or they just print up labels to affix to their batteries to make them sell. Battery does not engage battery latch on my BF-F8HP. Battery slides out because of no latch engagement! It does work with my MirKit uv-5r 8w.

Found these 2100 mAh batteries for my UV-5R radios. These replace the original BL-5 1500 mAh batteries that came with my radios which weren't holding a charge anymore. These batteries keep the same size format without having the longer 3800 mAh battery size unless I need it. Good price and they keep a good charge well over 8 hours if used at 60-70% capacity. I recommend them.

First I'd like to say that my new battery was delivered very quickly. The battery properly fits the BaoFeng UV-5R. The storage capability of this battery will run the UV-5R for two or three days under normal use.

One of the questions about rating asked about battery life and longevity so I don't have any idea but they sure sent the one I ordered and I was very happy with the time it took to get it !

They will be emergency communication while on hunting trips, and communications between hunting partners. They are going to be enjoyable for my wife and I HAM hobbies.
