Upgraded Adjustable Gooseneck Automobile Cup Holder Phone Car Mount Review

I liked it very much when I received it. Now I've had it for about 6-7 weeks and the spot where my phone goes rotates and won't stay upright and the hand won't hold. I'm completely insane because I needed this for my job. The flexible part is broken.

Great Phone Holder. Fits very securely, excellent mechanism for adjusting the size and angle of the phone. Couldn't be happier. Thought of Weather Tech but saw you need to use a small adjustment device which I'm sure is easy to lose and then you need to tuck the other "sleeves" somewhere else you lose the ability to move away from Vehicle to vehicle move vehicle. It's easy to set up and secure. Also a much better price.

I bought the previous model a few months ago and when I put my phone inside for the first time I noticed that the support pins at the bottom didn't extend out far enough and didn't hold my Samsung Note 8 securely when the phone was in his case was incipio. TopGo was very grateful for the feedback, updated the design and notified me when it was available. Updated model in my car and I love it! Excellent customer service; good product; good company!

I was thrilled when I found this phone holder at Revain. However, I have a feeling that the actual phone holder part that I received is wrong. It will not snap into your hand. I tried, my roommate tried, my dad tried; it won't tear, so it's useless. So disappointed. The delivery was fast, very nicely packaged, but for the updated model it is useless because it cannot be used. I feel ripped off and cannot recommend it. It's not even 1 star but zero is not an option.

I also had trouble attaching the gooseneck plate to the back of the phone holder. The pressure required to "click" the locking slots is greater than can be applied with bare hands. My tool of choice was an Irwin soft-jaw ratchet clamp. Holding the two panels level, I placed one jaw on the top edge of the phone holder and the other jaw on the bottom edge of the gooseneck plate. Broken after 2 months! I started using it in late October 2019 and this morning (January 13, 2020) it clicked well between the stem and base. I had to use my gut instinct to assemble it and couldn't snap the car mount piece onto the stem. It was supposed to be easy enough for a kid to do, but after trying and failing, I asked my friend to try and he was able to do it in the end. This phone holder is for my Samsung Galaxy S-7 Edge. Although the phone holder is very well made, the most important factor to consider is the type of cup holder configuration on your car or truck. My car, a 2008 Buick Lacrosse CXL sedan, has a "moving" divider in a cup holder configuration. I like the cup holder. It fits easily in a cup holder and is easy to install. However, inserting part of the phone holder into the holder's grip was a bit more difficult. I couldn't get it to snap into place and found that one of the clips on the back of the phone holder was bent and not locking anything into place. I bought this Topgo cup holder style cell phone holder for my husband after trying another one that wouldn't hold his cell phone. My husband has a Samsung J7V (sm-J737V). The phone has a casemate case with a kickstand that sticks out a bit, making the phone look thick overall.
