Poor in medium to low light

Due to COVID I work from home and use Zoom video calls several hours a day. Pros: Video quality in good light isn't impressive, but it's solid (adequate for business calls, of course). Setup is extremely easy - plug and play. Cons: Video quality is below average in moderate to low light. I have two windows in my home office (tons of natural light) and a lamp. On cloudy days I have to switch back to my laptop's camera as that camera doesn't work very well.

Do not buy for Apple computers

It may work on Windows computer but not Mac. Quality is poor on any video platform, even on HD settings. I've tested it with Zoom, Google Hangouts, Teams, FaceTime, and Skype. The picture is too bright, blurry, noisy and is simply unacceptable for any business user. This is a cheap Chinese product that should never be manufactured or sold to customers. I'm sorry for this negative review, but the quality is advertised and nothing is delivered.

Much better than the laptop's built-in webcam

I have an old laptop with a built-in 720p webcam and the quality has always been below average. Additionally, when I use my laptop in its dock, the laptop's camera is far from my main screens, making the built-in camera almost useless. I bought this PC with HD webcam for school - distance learning needs every benefit it can get. I know MS Teams doesn't currently support 4K and Zoom does, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this will happen soon enough. My son is now 100% in distance learning due to the pandemic, so the webcam plays a very important role during his school day.
