Good hand scanner

The scanner is good, does its job and is a good investment. However, a few things that keep me from giving it a 5 star rating are that it seems to lose connection to my computer in the mornings and it can be a little annoying trying to reconnect it to the computer at times have to. Also, this product could really use a stand. That would be much more convenient. However, I ordered this product and was fully aware that it didn't come with a stand (so I guess it's more my fault than anything…

Pros
  • 2-in-1 connection
Cons
  • Outside

Works well and connects well.

So far, so good! I bought two of these Bluetooth models for our company's year-end inventory. It took me half a minute to figure out how to connect the scanner to the iPad Gen 4 and iPad Air. I've never had a bluetooth scanner, just wired, so didn't know what to expect. To set up, scan the barcodes in the setup guide for the type of device you want to pair, and then scan the barcodes for the # code that appears on your device's screen. I was expecting more headaches from this great deal, but so

Pros
  • Hand free
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

We liked it so much we ordered a second one

REVIEW UPDATE: We bought one of these in early 2015 and liked it so much we ordered a second one. The second had problems from the start (different smaller box, no instructions, wrong charger, scanner was covered with dust/dirt). We didn't think too much about it at the time. But after a few months of very light use (the second was for our other building that sees less traffic) the scanner stopped working (the trigger didn't "click" and hence the redline scanner didn't come out). So we realized

Pros
  • Easy connection and longer transmission distance
Cons
  • Some cons
