Description of URBNFit Gymnastic Rings - Non-Slip Olympic Rings with Adjustable Straps for Crossfit, Bodyweight Workouts, and Strength Training at Home or Gym

THE ULTIMATE BODYWEIGHT WORKOUT - Bodyweight training in the form of ring training develops upper body muscles, strengthens your core, and also improves mobility and flexibility. Bodyweight training is not only more effective than gym machines that only focus on limited muscle groups, it’s also more convenient. Just hang the rings on a suitably strong support and get an incredible workout from the comfort of your own home!. SET A NEW PERSONAL RECORD - Work out rings are more than an exercise accessory. Do Crossfit ring dips, pull-ups, muscle-ups, levers, iron crosses, and enjoy a bodyweight strength training that pushes you to engage multiple muscle groups at once. COMFORTABLE NONSLIP GRIPS - The gymnastics rings have textured grips which are designed to eliminate slippage due to sweaty hands. Made with heavy-duty APS plastic, the rings can hold up to 1,000 lbs. EASY TO INSTALL & SETUP - Wrap the straps around a secure bar, run the strap’s end through the ring and insert it into the locking buckle. Extra long 17-foot straps allow you to adjust the rings to the perfect length depending on your height and the workout you’re planning to do.

plastic is good!

I wanted wooden handles but needed something cheaper. It is great. High quality plastic, very durable (sounds like heavy dinner plates rattling in the box). Easy to use, easy to install. They also came with a voucher for a free gift in the form of a rubber band or a rolled-up water bottle. Think about what kind of brackets/mounts you are going to use to hang them. I used some simple strong eyebolts and they worked great.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Frequency

DO NOT BUY - NOT WORKING

Clip securing strap does not work. Once you load the rings, the straps will slip until they come out completely or you fall to the ground. I have tied knots on the straps to prevent the straps from completely unraveling to allow my athletes to continue training but I will be returning them immediately and hopefully buying another pair with a clip strong enough to hold the straps to keep in place.

Pros
  • Builds confidence
Cons
  • Expensive

Not particularly impressed. on sports and competition equipment

Originally when I received it (2018) I didn't use it immediately because I belonged to a gym. Well, post quarantine, we've become categorical about setting up our home gym. I got excited when we hung them up to use them. Initially they worked great with no issues, now after 2 months they no longer support your body weight no matter what I do. The clips allow the straps to slip so they cannot be used when using full body weight. more. Now I just leave them idle because they need to be replaced…

What I like and need improvement

I like rings in general. This is my first set, they are light in hand and feel solid overall. I have two negatives: 1) After only a few turns, the stitching came out of the end of the loop on the length adjustment buckle. It was easy to fix, but I was surprised that it only looked torn. 2) The buckle itself does not have a large gap to pull the strap. The strap gets caught in the adjustment buckle, which makes moving and installing the ring set take longer than intended. I'm thinking of adding…

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM

This was my first pair of rings. I didn't know what to look for. I won't make that mistake again. First, plastic rings are terrible if you want to do gymnastics or gymnastics. I wrapped them in sports tape and it made them usable. Spend extra money on wooden rings. If that was the only issue with the product I would give it no stars. The straps are of very poor quality. That's the biggest problem. Now after seeing other gymnastics rings I would just buy wider straps. A cheap ratchet and 1 inch…

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Protection

I was very happy to receive it. A bit disappointed that the strap mechanism for one of the rings slipped when I put too much weight on it. I found out about this when one of the rings broke completely while I was doing push ups, which was pretty scary. I'm just glad that didn't happen when I was doing the inversions! Unfortunately, this only gets worse with the use of rings, and now both strap mechanisms slip almost every time I use them. Disappointing and frankly quite dangerous. Edit…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember

Your chiropractor and dentist should be on speed dial

Buckles are not suitable for this set. I was using the rings for about 3 weeks (training with them about 3 times a week) when one of the buckles started slipping. I didn't think about it too much because if I put the buckle on and then pull the tab it will lock itself so it won't be too much inconvenience. Well, over time it lessened, it was scary, and then the other buckle started to work the same way. I started putting a stack of pillows under me, just in case. They kept sliding. After about…
