Saving part

This part is perfect for the E30. As a rule, these parts wear out regularly not because of poor workmanship, but simply because the basic construction of the BMW does not withstand long use. Luckily, they're fairly easy to replace, so with a little DIY skill you can replace this inexpensive part without too much hassle. Good price; little reason to pay more.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Problem

Solid quality product. Don't forget the gasket

Great value for money, exactly as advertised, nothing less nothing more. Lock nuts and gaskets are not included. I bought them for 89 325ic and they went well with the rotten ones I pulled out. On the 325ic it's a really easy swap, no special tools as long as you have a jack and jack. If you have a rear end chatter on your e30, check the shock absorbers for cracks. Then rejoice, you can make your car look 20 years younger for the price of a pizza.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

I'm sure after installation they are ok because they were too big

I'm sure after installation they are ok because they were too big. It was a 2003 e46 325i. I think the powder coating made them larger than intended and therefore very difficult to install. The extra 0.5mm of paint meant I had to sand it down to get the end of the turret through the turret hole. Maybe my car's shock absorber hole was a bit small. It doesn't matter that it was an extra 45 minutes of fighting. If you have trouble, just use coarse sandpaper to reduce the diameter of the part.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • not reliable
