🔧 Efficient Replacement: URO Parts 9445462 Expansion Tank Cap - Superior Performance and Fit Review

ordered this for our 2001 Volvo C70 Convertible. It was good value, shipped quickly and matched the coolant reservoir perfectly as the old one broke.

Very happy with this replacement antifreeze fuel cap. I lost antifreeze and found that the cap gasket has worn out and needs to be replaced regularly. The problem solved at minimal cost!

I used this to replace an OEM coolant cap that has mysteriously disappeared from my Volvo S60R. I'm usually pretty strict about using OEM parts, but an OEM part is made by the same manufacturer for a lot more dollars. I will update this review if I encounter any issues that I'm not expecting.

My S70 T5M kept losing coolant during and immediately after driving. I examined the expansion tank from all sides outside the car and didn't see a single crack. This seems to be a fairly common problem, the lid goes bad with no visible problems. This URO part solved the problem straight away, it holds the coolant perfectly.

Replaced the water pump and tank on my sister's Volvo but the leak stayed. Somehow I missed an old cracked cap that I reused from an old tank. Because of this, the system didn't hold pressure and I lost a large amount of coolant under the cap. It's almost a direct match to the factory and so far I haven't lost any pressure or coolant since the replacement. I'm so glad I didn't try to remove and reinstall the water pump.
