The wire spool came out of the box broken

The wire spool is broken and the gun does not rotate at the real welder place. I hope this works because I don't have time to drive to return stuff and wait again. If it doesn't work in the welder, I will be very upset.

Came with a broken spool.

A piece of the spool wall had broken off, allowing the wire to explode in the bird's nest when I removed the tape. When I finally got what was left rewound it didn't go through my ESAB 235. I don't know if quality control was off or the reel was mislabeled. I noticed that the coil walls are much thinner than comparable Lincoln or Inefil.

Really great stuff - great for TIG!

When TIG welding thin steel sheets, buying small diameter wire is expensive. I TIG welded 20 gauge mild steel and bought it for a fraction of the cost of buying straight wire. It worked very well. As long as you break up the slag on the steel with a quick twist of the wire brush, you can easily tack and weld with this wire. You just have to hurry so as not to air the holes. TIP: To make micronails, you need twice the amperage than welding tacks (just over 50 amps for 20 gauge). If you can get…
