Description of πŸ”— Welding Red Cable Connectors: Efficiently Linking No. 4 to No. 1/0 with US Forge

Solid brass camlock-style cable connectors connect welding cables quickly and easily with a quarter turn. Designed with the female end being recessed to minimize accidental shorting. Will not slip or disconnect when cable is pulled. Hard rubber sheath insulates the connection.

This is complete junk, only buy if you want to be angry

The threads on the cable locks are terrible, both sides were torn off before I fitted them. I work very carefully with copper. Once I received them in working condition, the connectors are difficult to assemble. I thought they weren't done right, so I took a memory and edited it. It helped when they got together, but once they've started being used, it's a whole different story to separate them. In general, the quality of these quick connectors is low, very low. The insulating material becomes…

Perfect for my use.

Used for 200A DC power supply quick connectors. Please return asap so I can order 6 more! FYI, if you call yourself a welder and have never suffered shock while welding or are afraid of being a welder, you are not a welder. They are perfectly safe when used with direct current. As safe as any electrode holder. Shake out the sand, pussy!

Not top quality but does the job well and is a great price.

Hard plastic, not rubber. Large pad hex set screw, holds gauge 0/1 in place very well. The plastic locking screw sits under the plastic so chances of contact are very slim and not even a problem unless you're also holding the bottom, which would be silly. I use them to connect the 12v line from my battery pack to the inverter in my caravan. The cable connector accepted the 0/1 welding cable with no problems. I simply cut the wire, stripped the insulation, twisted the bare wire together and…
