It's heavier than I thought but I'm happy with it. I used it to knit a treasure chest for a children's quest. It was a long chain and it didn't seem easy to break. However, I did not test it for durability.

This is a plastic chain. So if you are looking for strength, look for a metal material. It is exactly as advertised. It took me 25 feet of decorative chain to put a light sign on and it's perfect. The black chain with the black and gold badge looks very nice and the plastic is great for outdoor use.

As you can see in my photo I used this chain DO NOT ENTER to cordon off the unsafe part of the deck. It's very light and looks well made. The plastic has a certain roughness - not a problem for my needs, but I don't want to deal with it all the time. I just released it today so I can't confirm the durability.

I mean it's a plastic chain, what else can I say? Bought to block access to dangerous stairs. It blocks said stairs well. This chain isn't a good chain for hauling your redneck neighbor's truck out of the mud pit in the back of a 40, though. She's made of plastic. Use this for relevant plastic chain applications and you will be satisfied!

We have a lot of elderly people using our parking lot, unfortunately we also have people who throw the rubbish. We needed to find an easy solution that our older participants could bypass, but that would discourage others from using the site as a landfill. It was once broken by someone trying to jump over it and failed. But I put a zip tie on him and he was fine. Looks like a real chain and keeps people out of our parking lot when we're not there. I don't understand why people are complaining about the strength of this chain - it's a plastic chain. It is not designed for towing a car or anything like that. We only use it as a gentle reminder to visitors to use our front door. We have an open canopy leading to our kitchen door but we prefer visitors to follow the walkway to the front door.
