Works as a Nintendo Switch Dock with Mayflash adapter and also works with Pixel 2!

I bought this thing last year to use a wired headset and USB-C fast charge on my Pixel 2 at the same time. I can confirm this after many adapters (this one, USB-A male to USB-C female). , USB-C male to 3.5mm female) this setup works great, aside from the fact that it looks absolutely ridiculous. I recently bought the switch and today I remembered I had this adapter and what do you know the switch recognizes it as a docking station (with enough USB-C power I used the official USB-C charger thatโ€ฆ

Cozy! - Connectors and Adapters

Great little adapter. I've had it for a few months and it's helping with my new 2017 MacBook Pro model that came with only USB-C ports and no HDMI or USB ports. It's small, light and really durable. I take it to customer sites to project on large TVs in conference rooms while charging my iPhone. I will definitely get another one if this one breaks but I dropped it and stepped on it and it still works fine.

I have a Samsung S8 Plus. The adapter did not fit.

I have a Samsung S8 plus. The adapter didn't work initially. I had to set the USB mode to PTP and it worked great. To set the USB mode, go to ---> Settings/Developer Options/USB Configuration. If you don't have developer options in your settings, go to the "About phone" menu in the settings, find the "Build number" entry and tap on it seven times. Once you've done that, you'll see the "Developer Mode Enabled" message.

Just what I needed and looks great

Main use: Work - to connect to various HDMI peripherals Device: Lenovo Yoga 920 (2x USB-C, 1x USB-A) I mainly use this for presentations Working in conference rooms with HDMI ports. I've connected various TVs and projectors with no problems. It works as expected and the extra ports are an added bonus for me. This adapter also allows for charging, so I can charge my laptop and phone at the same time (I haven't tried this, but it's nice to know it's available when I need it). The rose gold colorโ€ฆ

Bad experience: plug and adapter

The adapter works well when not connected to a USB Type-C power supply. When I plugged in the power adapter to charge my 2018 MBP, the adapter started getting very hot, after a few hours everything connected to this adapter became unresponsive. This adapter seems to have something to do with the MBP, or the MBP cannot handle video output, connected devices, and power delivery over the same USB Type-C. I'll try this from time to time with different devices connected, but right now I'm worriedโ€ฆ
