I use this for walking at night. As you can see by the pics, it lights up very well. The light is not for "searching" but more for what is directly in front of you and for cars to notice you. I would say it lights of brightly 10-15 in front of you and then lights up subtly 180 degrees (about 20 feet out). So you will be seen no problem, and that is what I bought it for. These is not the brightest light but if you need for quick work in the dark ( tire change or any related emergency) it's great. What I like the most is one function button, I personally don't need a sos or strobe light. On and off is all I need. The only thing I will change is alittle brighter but as I said it gets you out of a jam. Definitely recommend it.

Was disappointed with this light when I received it due to the fact it will only tilt 90 degrees down if it's clipped on the underside of the hat bill. Clipped under the hat bill puts the light in your line of sight, especially when it is pointed down. I have other brands of hat lights that pivot downward when clipped to the top side of the bill and does not interfere with your line of sight. This is such a great little light! You charge it using your computer. We loved it so much that I bought a second one. Unfortunately both of the charging cords were lost (by way of pup getting ahold of them and chewing them) I emailed the company and asked about replacement cords. That was 2 weeks ago.still haven't heard anything from them. So even though this is a great product that I would highly recommend, customer service really sucks! I am getting a refund but buyer beware, this is poorly made. It IS really bright and just what I needed for my mother who is visually impaired with RP. It was super bright and easy to use. We didn't get to use it enough to deplete the battery so I can't speak to battery life. It is rechargeable which I prefer over single use.

This is more like 2 watts, 200 lm streamlite is much brighter than this, I use it as a clip on flashlight on my dog's collar instead.

I love the concept of this lamp. The only thing I don't like is the lamp adjusts wrong. You have to put the lamp on the underside of your visor and blocks your vision.

I use it at work, I loved that it just attaches to the bill of my hat and does not have the extra straps to go around my head. I bought a second one to use when the first one is charging. Great brightness, and very light!

When I tried this product, the brightness was pitiful, barely lighting up a small area. The bulky design made it uncomfortable to clip onto my hat, and the USB charging was incredibly slow. As someone who works in Tools and Home Improvement, I was disappointed by the poor performance and would not recommend this to anyone.

The light swivels vertically and I have to rotate it upwards or it glares in my eyes. Not a major problem. Provides lots of bright light for me and my dogs on nighttime walks. Can glare in their eyes too if not rotated upward.
