Good for long distance use.

Didn't expect much. Just something I could use outdoors. They are fundamentally and technically suitable for my needs. They don't look like a military problem. Made in China, lame yellow straps replaced with other materials. *absolutely - none of the optical dust caps stay in place. All dust caps are useless and get in the way * Haven't used them in the rain yet. I hope they are waterproof, otherwise I won't import these things anymore.

. ordered the binoculars above and that in itself is normal. They are great

I ordered the binoculars listed above and that alone is great. They are great but I have a manual for a pair of sail binoculars (7X50) and a neck strap (light yellow) and it doesn't even come close to army green. Perhaps two different types of binoculars (7X50 and 10X50) from the same manual work fine. But the neck strap is as bright as sail binoculars, not tactical army green. The military look of the MIL-SPEC mimic is complete nonsense.

I don't often write negative reviews - mostly because I spend so much time checking my purchases before I make them and that's why I'm happy with my purchases. These binoculars don't have a regular cut, and here's why: Out of the box (2016-04-28): - The packaging was ordinary and smelled like Chinese import, which blew away MIL-SPEC gear - The light-colored strap to put on the shoulder or neck is neon yellow while MIL-SPEC Green binoculars, MIL-SPEC Green case and MIL-SPEC Green lens caps…
