Good buy for the money

I'll start with the good ones first: I use them on an old Trek XO1 that I use for gravel biking in WY. I've ridden this bike on all sorts of terrain, including areas that would be better suited for an X-County mountain bike. As they say, I've never lost a water bottle (24oz Polar vacuum flasks). Keep in mind that without suspension, this bike runs on 700c tires. I've also climbed steep stairs that are as bumpy as can be and again never lost my water bottle. Works as expected: Water bottle holder

I installed them on my 700c bike very easily, just two screws each. I only used a 24 ounce plastic bottle of Contigo but it fits perfectly. The bottle is tall, not very wide. Sturdy material, well made, nicely colored and works for me. I wouldn't say it's the most stylish product but the price was good and it does the job. They are probably heavier than others. So if you're trying to keep the weight down (like racing) they may not be for you. It looks like metal, so it's heavier than plastic…

shhh Clamps / cable ties CAN be used with this!

OK. Ushake makes it clear that the bike MUST have mounting holes in order to use them. And if you already have mounting holes on your bike, be sure to use them. But if you don't want to and don't want to drill holes in your bike frame, I'm here to tell you YES, you can use zip ties and/or hose clamps if you do it right. Understand that the company doesn't want people to try an alternative method of attachment and if it wasn't done right write a bad review about the product saying it didn't work
