Great pegs for a tent (not a hammock). They're a little thin, but that's to be expected from ultra-light titanium steaks. They will hold up well if you use them with care.

Not only will you save a few ounces by carrying 6-8 of these stakes, but you will drive them into the ground with a lot less effort than larger diameter stakes hard ground that you will have trouble getting the big aluminum stakes in, maybe even bending them by hand, they go in easily. They're pretty thin, though, and can hurt your palm if you squeeze them - use a piece of hard wood or rock to squeeze them and they'll go right in. Actual Length 7-7/8 inches, Body Thickness 1/8 inches, Headboard 1/4 inches. Correct size for TCOP military tents and 2 combat tents for men. Both have Eastman 12 pole tents but tend to blow heads off. Don't worry as they have a solid one piece construction. They are not suitable for large tents, not long enough and not thick enough for base camp tents of 4 or more people. As I have 3 smaller tents (1 and 2 person) I will be ordering more to upgrade them all (12 per tent).
