INCORRECT PART - Replacement Parts

This is a conversion from a vacuum locking hub to a manual locking hub. This is not a manual lockout hub replacement as advertised.

Pros
  • Hub Assemblies
Cons
  • Minor Repairability

Does the Job - Hub Assemblies

If you drive a lot of off-road vehicles you don't get it. But if you need a replacement as a last resort. Example: My wheel bearing jammed so badly that mine failed while driving. But when you update or create a project. just buy a better set. If you buy this, no tools are required. Just be patient and line it up correctly and it will snap into place. It comes lubricated but you should lubricate the hub if you have not done so before installation.

Pros
  • Bearings and Seals
Cons
  • Long Time

Fall/Crash in less than 2 miles.

The clamps on these hubs DO NOT fit properly into the keyway on the main hub assembly. I installed them securely, wiggling/pulling, everything seemed fine, but less than 2 miles down the road I felt a "pop" and saw one of them bounce onto the road behind me. Done, broken, garbage. Upon closer inspection and online videos of similar hubs, it appears that despite the large "spring" around the mounting lugs, it simply lacks the extra clamps that that spring is supposed to hold. Spring doesn't…

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • Infinitely stiff
