I really liked the versatile nature of the cheese grater and non-stick base of this item. But in some cases it was incredibly difficult to wash and the grip wasn't that strong. I think it ripped after a few washes. Good 6 months it was a great grater. If they fixed the handle it would probably be more expensive for me.

It's bigger than I expected which isn't bad. It grates cheese well and that's all I've used it for so far. Because it's big, it was easy to clean by hand. The black piece around the bottom fell off on first use and no longer fits - it just keeps falling off so I threw it away. It doesn't look like it will last, maybe I'm a bit "rough" with things, but I expect more from metal products.

Bought this for my wife who needed a replacement for her old one. He will fret over anything you need and something you don't like. , although I have no doubt that he is up to the task. I'm the end, it's just a cheese grater, plain and simple. No frills are required.

Now this thing really grates cheese and its primary function is as advertised. It looks good, it's big, and it destroys the cheese. It just pissed me off that the handle at the top flew off while grating - the cheese flew in all directions, and then my dog ate the rest on the floor. It was cheese and pepper, so little Chihuahua spat his molten lava everywhere but his pot. I blame the grater. I'll try to tape it back, but c'mon - can we get a good production next time?!

I'll start with the only negative. The rubber band on the bottom loosens under heavy use. Not a big deal since I take it off to clean anyway. Just one of those tiny design flaws that makes you hunt down an engineer and explain some of the realities of home use. And now the good news. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat (probably not, because how many of these does a boy need?) but it's well made and holds up to the beating I give it.
