Worked well to cut the 4x6 joists

I was making a base for a barn and wanted to block the floor joists. A 2.75 x 3.5 deep hole was required and the circular saw only goes 2.25 inches deep. I was able to cut out most of this with a circular saw and then make a template out of 1/4 MDF and some strips of oak that I had. to the beam and finished the score and cleaned the sides. Worked great with my Dewalt 618. No vibrations or oddities that I noticed. Trimmed 30-40 notches and the supply seems good and still sharp.

Pros
  • delivery was very quick
Cons
  • crumpled

Good quality and great price for a rare size.

I bought this to cut 2 3/4" deep grooves in hard maple leaf (Split Top Roubo project). I had no problem getting to that depth (even with a 1/4" MDF stencil) and cut his work without complaining. At full depth care should be taken to make easy passes. For the grooves, I went straight down the corners first and then did easy full depth passes around the circle. After seeing that it worked I bought three more bits in case they went missing. It's hard to find the length and I was pleasantlyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive

Great price for a hard to find size.

I bought this to use my router table as an edge bander. It works perfectly. I could combine 9/4 walnut and 4/4 oak well enough that I couldn't tell them apart from the factory edge. I can't comment on the durability of the product, but it's well made with two carbide grooves and I have no reason to doubt it will hold up well. Haven't found a 1/2 shaft that long. The difference between day and night. I was able to use a 1/4" shank for 4/4 pine and very carefully for 3/4 oak. Any higher loadโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to Use
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide
