Disappointing Router Bit, Avoid It!

When I tried this product, it kept chattering, causing my material to chip and splinter. The bearing was wobbly making it difficult to control the cut.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Bearing too loose, Chatters too much.

Chipped bearings in cutters

Worked great on first job but bearing blew out second time. I don't need to tell you what happens to your work when the bearing sliding on the surface of that work suddenly disappears. As a result, it turned out to be a lot more expensive than $15.

Pros
  • Tungsten Carbide cutters, hardened solid steel (45 steel) Anti-kickback body
Cons
  • Cord shorter than other cutters

Low quality bits for straight, spiral and trimming bits

Ordered two pieces for routing guitar bodies. Both failed, one catastrophically, after combining two 2-inch tecasters. A hard soft maple and a soft maple with purple heart plates. The first part exploded when it hit the purple heart. Unfortunately, they are not suitable for woodworking.

Pros
  • Cuts all composite materials, plywood, hardwood and softwood
Cons
  • Doubtful
