FRAUD ALERT: This is not a 1/4 " bit.

FRAUD ALERT: This is not a 1/4" bit, this is a 6mm bit (will fall out of the collet ). Look carefully at the photo - it is digitally processed. The actual part says 6mm.

WARNING: Not the best option for 1/4 " end mill

I received this tip this morning and tried to mount it on my CNC router but it was too small to actually put it in 1/4 " 4-inch plug Frazier is holding. I decided to measure the actual diameter of the shaft to make sure it wasn't my car and it was 6mm and not 1/4 inch. This is a small difference in size, but if your router only accepts 1/4" bits, this product will not work for you.

Probably good for tight cuts that don't require finishing

Could have used more detail on the tool but the diameter is an acceptable 6.34mm or 0.2496" which is about 1/4". . I haven't checked runout yet, which to me is one of the most important aspects of an end mill. I'll let you know when I have the numbers, but for now my only complaint is the lack of cutting data. I've found that most companies don't bother to provide cutter information, which makes loading a tool into my cam tool library a pain. in the best case. I also have to assume that because
