Works with a 20 gallon pump!

I liked the price! I was concerned by the negative reviews that the bubbles didn't fully expand - when I connected the pump only half of the rod bubbled, which I was expecting based on what others had said. I left it overnight and woke up with lots of blisters! They vary in size. I love it!

Get them at Walmart.

I was disappointed with this bubble bar, I was expecting it to be the same or almost the same quality as the one I currently use, it's narrower than I thought and smaller. It bubbles evenly and puts back pressure on my air pump, where the stone seems too dense I had to use the two I bought together as one for it to work adequately. not much and the cost was 7.00 each compared to 4.00 or 5.00 each for 14 inch Aqueon rods. pay more, get less.

You get what you pay for

As others who have purchased this item have pointed out, I have not experienced full blistering of this stone. On the advice of others I replaced my air pump with a larger one and now the bar is sizzling halfway through! I was thinking about attaching it to my pancake compressor so I could adjust the air pressure until I figured out what pressure this brick ran at lol. Even with a 100-gallon Tetra Whisper Blue Air Pump (77855) pumping it, it still only bubbles halfway. To make matters worseโ€ฆ

A powerful air pump for a 20-100 gallon tank works great with this bubbler!

I had to buy a larger air pump for a 100 gallon aquarium to make this bubbler work because it had to share that pump with another small bubbler. Cheap here on Revine, thank goodness! Works perfectly. I love it! I'm glad I bought a new pump. For a powerful bubbler, choose this air pump and make sure bubbles come out of every hole of this bubbler: (I bought these from Revain) Uniclife Aquarium Air Pump 4 Power 4L/min, 2 sockets with accessories, adjustable oxygen pump for Aquarium 20-100 gallonโ€ฆ
