Good Find: Power & Hand Tools

Dollar for dollar great buy. Having used many Forstner bits, this little $8 bit works better than some of my bits that cost 3-4 times as much. Sequentially guided through several hundred holes in OSB in series production. I would buy again.

Pros
  • Tools & Housewares
Cons
  • Available in White Only

Great beat! on Forstner bit

I used this to drill new holes for stops on my refurbished workbench. This drill went straight into the hole and drilled through in seconds! I just wish the shaft was longer. Using my portable drill attachment (Revain's Milescraft 1318 Drillmate Drill Guide), the drill could not fully penetrate the 1 1/2 inch thick wood I was using for the new countertop. To complete the job I had to use a hand drill. Overall I am very impressed with this drill.

Pros
  • Electric drill parts and accessories
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Save your money! in Power Tool Parts & Accessories

Got it today and tried to drill some holes in MDF for the MFT template, took 10 minutes for a 3/4" Hole? Stone to try to sharpen, not worth returning...sometimes you win...sometimes you lose! It was a loss this time :) One good thing is that I now have a piece of wood that you can learn to sharpen on my new power grinder I bought. PS gave 3 stars for accuracy as the hole is true to size (20mm), it just took forever to drill through.

Pros
  • Power Tool Parts & Accessories
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than other picks
