One of the two parts was heavily used/abused

Other items I have bought from uxcell have been fine but not this one. One of the two items sent to me (on the right in the photo) has been heavily used and mistreated. It was more or less destroyed.

Pros
  • Forstner bit
Cons
  • New competitors appeared

Not for hand drilling

I bought these to use a hand drill to drill shallow holes in pressure treated pine. I do not recommend them for this purpose. The center point can't hold the chisel in place and I can't stop the chisel from moving.

Pros
  • Power tool parts and accessories
Cons
  • Not sure

Spend a few bucks more and get a better drill bit

These drill bits are not very sharp and will wobble a bit in the drill, making the hole a few millimeters larger. If you don't need or don't need tighter tolerances, they will probably work. Otherwise, spend a few dollars more and buy a better piece.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Some bugs
