Description of Uxcell Diamond Granite Fiberglass Ceramic Cutting Tools in Hole Saws & Accessories

Diamond coating maximizes performance and retains a sharper cutting edge than traditional carbide or bimetal hole saws. Nickel plating on these bits maximizes your tools life with great resistance to corrosion. Side holes allow for easy slug removal after drilling. Suitable for cutting accurate holes on glass, ceramics, porcelain, ceramic tile, porcelain tile etc. Not suitable for drilling tempered glass, plastic and wood. Please use at low drill speeds and drill pressure. Always work with coolant (water) when drilling. Not suited for use on concrete or for depths beyond about 1/2 inch.

Disposable but they do the job perfectly

Knew that buying a cheap nozzle without reviews is risky. Bought this 3" drill bit for drilling holes in asbestos siding (3/16" thick). I drilled a hole but the whole diamond came loose long before I was almost halfway through. But I managed to finish the hole so I think it worked for me - so 3 stars if you only need it once for something simple.

Pros
  • The nickel plating on these tips extends tool life and provides high corrosion resistance.
Cons
  • No Instructions
