Some pretty color. to articles for drawing, drawing and being creative

Expensive but very good paint. The metallic colors correspond to their description. Gold really looks gold. There are many metallic flakes in each drop that will add a beautiful shine to your project, especially when the sun is shining on it. This material is thick and heavy and you need to thin it in order to use the airbrush. It's even a little thick for normal cleaning. For me it worked better with a slightly thin hand brush. Perhaps it will go a long way and be worth the cost of thinning.

very similar to metal.

Okay, I finally have the courage to try. Yesterday I started painting with an airbrush with primer, I used an airbrush for the first time. This stuff looks great. I used aged gold as the base, bronze to add depth and mixed silver as the base plating on the same piece. So much fun. And this is only the case with one sample of the model set, the details of which were originally yellow. Now a dark fill to give depth. Everyone knows this color is awesome. I just thought I'd add my two cents. Ohโ€ฆ

Great metallic colors!

Bought these to replace other lower quality metallics I have been using. All 8 colors have a nice uniform metallic sheen and are thick straight out of the bottle. Also, they don't dissolve like other (cheaper) paints when adding a small amount of water. Another important point is that after drying, the shades of each color are accurate. Don't be alarmed if the tone is slightly off when wet (e.g. bronze looks a bit greenish when wet) as the colors look great when dry. I had issues with otherโ€ฆ

Requires easy mixing, awesome colors and versatility

My rating is based on using these colors with the wonderful Nolzurs miniatures and Reaper's Bone miniminis, as well as several Metal Reaper's Dark Heaven Legends minifigures. All of these are metallic except for brass and gunmetal blue which must be mixed with the appropriate matte base color to ensure a good application. Brilliant shine and finish before painting my minis. Silver works well with a dry brush, but it usually results in a silver streak in the beginning if you accidentally applyโ€ฆ

Blank coating

Very thick when it comes out of the bottle and very transparent when diluted enough to use. The lightest silver is almost completely transparent to the point where it cannot be used for highlighting. It almost looks like an unpigmented metallic medium. Copper is good for very fine detail but looks like a golden sheen hanging in a reddish-brown medium when you paint with it over large areas. Gun Blue is a nice metallic blue, but too light to look like Gun Blueing. These can be used, but in mostโ€ฆ

Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

As an aspiring miniature painter I did a lot of research on acrylics to get started. There were two companies to choose from and I chose Vallejo because of the great color scheme. This color can be applied smoothly after applying the primer. The best thing about them is the drop-pressed bottle. Although the bottles are 17ml. in quantity a little color goes a long way. and can and should be easily diluted with a little water. It should be noted that these "metallic paints" actually containโ€ฆ

Glitter Paint in Colors

I have been in the art and design industry for over 15 years but this was my first experience of miniature painting. I wanted to add some metallic paint to my minis and saw that this brand has a good reputation. RESULTS: I was not impressed with these colors. The fluidity of the paint is very convenient as it can be used straight from the bottle. The metallic itself has that shiny quality rather than the chrome look that I've had with other paints and markers over the years. It's better thanโ€ฆ
